Engine: 5.0L 305ci
Transmission: 700r4, shift kit
Need help with head questions

Ok guys I have a 1986 IROC with a blown up 305 TPI well I really like the TPI but I have another motor that is carbed that is fresly rebuilt. I was wondering wether I could use those heads with the TPI?? If I can what heads would you recomend for the 305 I want preformance and I want it cheap. Please help me out guys.

Dependds what the heads are really . Find out what they are and toss it up . BTW cheap and go fast are hard to say in the same sentance. But it can be done if you are good.

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73
I read in the tech Q&A of Chevy High Performance that the HO 305 heads were some of the best cast by GM. To make them even better would be to add some bigger valves to get them to flow even better.
