Here is the cam specs from jegs:
Excellent mid-range for TPI 350 with chip upgrade, injectors, plenum and exhaust system.
Operating Range: 2000-6000 RPM
Duration Advertised: 268° Intake / 280° Exhaust
Duration @ .050'' Lift: 224° Intake / 231° Exhaust
Valve Lift w/1.6 Rockers: .520'' Intake / .515'' Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle: 113°
Here is the motor the cam wil be going in; fresh 350 with a new pair of stage 2 sportsman II heads, 9:7:1 CR, 1.6 rr, Hooker 2055 heders and Y pipe, 24lb injectors, and ported TPI base and plentum.
Will this be a good cam for this combo? How much horsepower can i expect from this combo?
Thanks in advance

That is one agressive cam. I don't think I have seen another hydraulic cam with only 44 degrees between the advertised 268 and the .050 lift at 224. That will get the job done but you had better have excellant springs, rocker arms and push rods.
I think it's WAY too much for even a ported TPI base, and stock runners.
MAYBE a fully ported aftermarket base with some siamesed ASMs or ported SLPs. MAYBE, but it's still big. Dang. I've heard rule of thumb for any long tube is 112 LSA and no more than 220 degrees duration. Never say never, but that's no where CLOSE to 112 and 220.

Remember MadMax put down over 330RWHP with a 700R4 automatic transmission and the Comp XFI 230 degree cam. He had the
TPI stock runners, not sure about the base or plenum. Not to bad of an idle either. He did have it tuned to a gnat's a$$. So if he has someone that can tune the car he should be OK. If not go with something smaller than the 224 @ .050 if infact those are the correct numbers that you posted. That cam is in the solid roller range.

That was a direct cut and paste from jegs website for the specs, however it looks like I will be running 1.5 rockers instead of the 1.6. I was reading the spec sheet for the heads and I have to elongate the pusrod holes for 1.6 rockers. I will be changing out the tpi later down the road for a HSR or lt-1 intakes so this looks like it will be a good cam.
thanks for the input guys

Thast a big cam for TPI . I would at the very least have an aftermarket base and runners ported and siamesed
