suggestions please

im finally done with my conversion from 89 305 TBI to 89 350 TPI....i have done everything except the ECM and prom....i know i need a 165 ecm but i need a chip just to get my car moving decently..... i know this is a stupid question that has been answered a million times but it is always answered with "do a search" or "burn your own proms"...the problem is that there is too much info on DIY prom burning to get an easy answer out of it... i plan on doing my own prom stuff but for now i just want to get on the road....any suggestions? Thanks, Steve

If it is basically a stock car just by the factory prom. They are still available.

Well i have done the basics(headers, exhaust, mild cam, cold air intake, new accel distributor, and a rebuilt trans with a 2500 stall) which is i guess quite a few mods....do you think a stock chip would be ok until i get into DIY burning? Thanks for the reply
