MAF repair! Worked for me, MIGHT for You
Hi All,
Not saying this will work in every situation. Anyway my friends TPI was runninng like crap, MAF codes all over the place. Needed a MAF. So I told him he needs to spend $$$ or try to fix it and see what happens. So i got the Idea of cleaning the MAF wires( brake cleen) then wait about 30 mins and used a blow torch on the wires just like a second or two every couple seconds till cherry red. Let it sit for like 30 mins plugged her in and fired her up bam she runs like new. Like i said won't work in every case, just use your comman sence.

The wire gets red hot in the burn-off mode. Your friend probably had a good MAF and a bad relay. Great diagnostic job. Pray you didn't overheat any part of the circuit
