I have adjusted timing twice now. And the car is still running rich. What else can I check for? The car has no power whatsoever. All cylinders are firing, but why is the timing always getting messed back up?
I did get a code for the TPS sensor a couple days ago. I cleared the codes but that one didn't pop back up. Would a broken TPS sensor cause this?
BTW, the search sucks *** now and it's a waste of my time to use it.

hotter thermostat will help. check mass air flow sensor get a cleaner for it or just unplug it and see how ur car runs a check eng light will come on but its okay. the tps should not have an effect on richness if you ever play with it (dont if you dont need to) all it does if your car is in park is raise the idel hope this helps you out!

take a look at that knock sensor and replace it most likely. That thing if not functioning correctly will retard the hell out of your cars timing causing your loss of power and rich condition

Well, the timing is staying put. I removed the spark plugs and all are black and #1 & 3 are wet to the touch with fuel. #2 had a glimmer of fuel on the arc of the plug.
Do I need new ones, or can I have these fixxed? I cannot afford anymore downtime.
