I just got an 89 iroc w/ a l98 and it has a full tuneup and is in good runing condition except it idles up and down up and down i was thinking a dirty iac? But i was wondering what you guys think i should do as my next mod all my mods are in my signature. This is a daily driver that will see the strip maybe twice a month at the most.

 

You can buy some sticky tires, and play with what you have now. You can also move up to some suspension upgrades. Or, you can maybe go with some intake upgrades. If it were my car, and I already had my exhaust sorted out, as you do, I would make some intake upgrades, port the heads, and change the cam. This soley depends on how far you want to go with the car, and if you want to go beyond bolt ons.

 

make sure than tan/white wire is connected

 

Get some SFC's and , some other suspension stiff like the relocation brackets and LCA's too.

Then get some more power

 

personally, I'd lighten the car. Theres a tech article called Shedding Pounds you should definitely read.
