Need some help

I was out driving the other day and when I came to a stop at a light my car was idling particularly low ~500 rpm. When I applied the throttle the car stalled, it started right back up but I am wondering what could cause this. My car likes to lurch from a stop sometimes (I apply the throttle and a second later it surges forward). I didn't know if my tps sensor isn't working or if my iac isn't adjusted properly. Could anyone help me with this issue or how I could fix it.

Otherwise the car runs fine and it isn't throwing any codes that I know of.

Thanks

Do a serch on your IAC and TPS, you will find out how to set min. idle air, and the readings for the TPS. (theres a lot of good info hear at thirdgen.)

good luck,

I adjusted the IAC like the tech file said and at first it was fine, it was idling at ~600 rpm and felt smoother. However, after I turned the car off and it sat for a while when I went to restart it it was back to ~500 rpm. I am just wondering if this is normal.
