Fuel Injector Clip broke....what now!!!!!

Well I have been in the middle of swapping my old l03 for my new modified L98. I hooked up the battery thinking today its going to crank for the first time...wrong! I had a huge leak from the number one injector. Like gas was sprying over the engine, straight out over the radiator, thanks to my new walbro fuel pump that I installed this morning also. Anyways I took the injector loose and replaced an O-ring, which was brand new anyway. Went to out the clip in and it snapped in two. So no one in town here carries fuel injector retainer clips, do dealerships usually have these in stock?? Do I even need it?? The other injectors do not leak but they all have clips on them also.

I have 8 injectors not one has an injector clip. Ive set my adjustable regulator up to 60 psi and not one has leaked yet.

I have an adjustable regulator also, do you think I should tighten the screw and crank up the pressure, and try the one injector without the clip? Should the injector slide up into the rail or make a pop or something?

As long as the fuel rails are tightened down they shouldnt leak.

The SVO Injectors from Fiveomotorsports tell you that you cant use the OEM injector clips anymore. It states to bolt the fuel rail in and then equalize the injector between the intake and the fuel rail.

with that being said, you really dont need them. If the fuel rail is bolted in, its not going anywhere.
