I WANT TO REPLACE MY PLUGS
WHAT DOES ANYONE RECOMMEND FOR SPARK PLUGS IN AN '88 IROC WITH 5.7 TPI? STOCK HEADS, EDELBROCK HEADERS. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE LIKED THE PLATINUM SERIES FROM BOSCH.

the bosch plugs are a waste of money there is no need for extra spark branches(i forget the actual name for them). just get the ac delco rapid fires.

Just get your standard bosch or ACDelco plugs. The Platinum 4's are a waste of money.

I got the platinum Boschs, the kind that don't need gapping and I love them. Car has always run like a champ with them. I switched to delcos and they are really weak and flimsy and broke when I was installing them. But the Bosches are much stronger.

Bosch is garbage and we had to stop installing them on cars at the garage I work at. No kidding.

With headers it is very handy to run a short plug. I also have an 88 IROC with headers and I love the Accel U-Groove plugs that come in a shorty version. Makes changing plugs alot easier and saves your spark plug boots from getting burned on the headers. I think the part # is 576S for our cars.

Autolite 25s all the way with what's in the sig.
UR4/5s have too short a distance between the nut and the taper to the head imho. Hated them on my stock heads, and the just flat wont work with the Pros.
