I just bought another 88 Formula 350 TPI. The car had some hard start problems, i.e. kept stalling when cold, had to keep revs up then it was fine. Then I had electrical power but the car would not turn over just dead when i would turn the key. I tried to pull codes by jumping the ALDL but no codes would display, not even the SES flashing. I tried to start it with the ALDL jumped and viola! it started right up. Then yesterday went to start it, started it right up (w/ ALDL jumped) didn't give it enough gas and it stalled, heard a loud pop, and now it won't even turn over again, and no power at all. Disconnected the battery overnight, now I have electrical power, but it still won't turn over! Please somebody help me, I have no idea even where to begin.

It starts and runs fine in filed service mode.

Would make me want to take a look at VATS(possible but I doubt it) or some type of ecm or sensor malfuntion.

Might want to try going thru all the grounds and powers and double checking everything is good, clean and tight.
