i got the full msd system except the dizzy, i have it wired up with the harness connector,with accell tack wired into my box. ihave no wire running from the tach lead (factory) and runs awesome. put the 3k chip in and worked normal.. it is definietly a ignition cut out at 6500...


my problem is no matter what chip 7200,7400,7600,7800 it still limits it at 6500 rpm... even with no chip it limits it at 6500 rpm

my questions are..

1) do i need a refrence from my computer to my box tach port???

2) I have a ls racing tune and im woundering if there are any pre sets in the PROM that limits rpm......

3) my factory tach reads 7000 rpm when my accell tach reads 6500 rpm

You need to check the PROM it has a rev limiter in it.
