TPI swap...Need Help!!! PLEASE!
TPI swap...Need Help!!! PLEASE!
A friend of mine told me to go on this site that there was a link for a 86-89 TBI to TPI (mass air). All I can find is the 90-92 TBI to TPI (speed density). I have an 89 RS that I have replaced the motor with a 305 TPI out of an 89 GTA. During the swap, I ran short on cash so I put the TBI system back on the car. Now I am ready to switch it to the TPI. If there is some kind of guide to the swap, I would be greatly appreciative!

the swap to a speed density system is a little easier for most people. Best thing is do a lot of searching and grab a copy of TPI Swapper's Guide. Its a pretty good book to start with.
thank you very much... I've heard of the book. is there any step-by-step links like the TBI to TPI (speed density)?

Not that I know of, I just got started and when I had a question or problem I came here to search and ask questions.

Check this site out too! Lots of good info on it that was instrumental in my swap from carb to TPI.
