your fan switch should be between the 6 and 8 exhaust exits. not in the front of the manifold.

None of the 92 F-bodies got aluminum heads. Only the Corvette TPI motors got the aluminum ones. The only temp sensor that's towards the back of the engine would be the intake air temp sensor, which is located on the underside of the tpi intake plenum. Btw, it's identical to the coolant temp sensor, but it measures air temp instead of water temp. Since whoever owned the car before did away with the AIR system, that's why you have those white and green plugs just hanging there. They go to the smog pump diverter valve. You might want to check and see if the wire is still hooked up to the cooling fan switch located between #6 and #8 spark plugs on the passenger side head. Try grounding that wire to see if the fans come on. If they still don't come on, probably check the fan relays next.
