rocker adjustment
I had my engine builder mount my heads and rockers before i dropped thje rebuilt motor it into my car. Now after the first start up and you know, couple of good miles...should I have readjusted my rockers and reset the valve lash and all that? This stuff is kind of new to me (adjusting rockers) so bare with me. I assume after the initial break in i should have done this..seems logical. But i figured id asked. I know they deff need adjustment now since they are a tad bit louder then i remember..nothign serious, but you can hear em with the hood up. I figured this might have to do with the small amount of knock my computer is picking up as well. But anyway, as far as power loss goes..what can i expect to see with poorly adjusted rockers? Thanks guys

also, i have a comp cams hydraulic roller cam and the rockers are 1.52's
however im hearing that with hydraulic lifters...you just torque them down once and thats it...no adjustments needed...

Car: red one
Engine: on the floor
Transmission: next to engine
Axle/Gears: the ones that turn
with the car running, loosen the Rocker Arms (slowly) ONE at a time till they are clattering, then tighten them (slowly) till they just stop clatterting, "ONE" full turn on the adjusting nut, and you are done (after all of them are adjusted). Change your oil after this because you are going to spill some or alot (depending on the oil pump you have)
