Just wondering going from 19 or 22 lb injectors to 24lb injectors do you have to turn the fuel pressure down? Seems like my car is running rich basically start crying when walking behind my vehicle everything is in check 02 sensor is brand new....thanks

 

you need to reprogram.......I wanted to do the same thing but could not.

 

My 305 had 24's on and the exhaust wasn't that bad after I put on the MSD digital 6plus ignition.
Oh, and I had the fuel pressure on the stock setting on the afpr

 

I installed 22 lb SVO's in my 1987 305. If I set the injector constant in the PROM to 19 lb's the exhaust smells very rich and burns my eyes. When I set it to 22 lb's it runs well and the rich fuel smell goes away.
