fuel pressure and timing

I am putting an AFPR on and right now my psi is 35, everything I have read on here says between 47 and 50 psi, the car has headers, mild cam, head porting, and a hypertech chip. Sound right?

Can I adjust the base timing even with that chip? It is at six right now, how much should I advance it at 5000 feet elevation?

Also has anyone tried the Kirban throttle performance switch from the Ecklers corvette catalogue on a Camaro?

42 psi should be your minimum for good fuel atomization. The higher pressure gives you better spray pattern / better fuel atomization. Leave your timing where it is with the Hypertech chip.
