Code 42 on hard starts
Code 42 on hard starts
I am experiencing hard starts with 1989 Iroc-Z 305 TPI. Once it does start,
the car sets a code 42. If I let the car warm up for 5-10 minutes, shut it
off for about 1-2 minutes then start it all is fine and it starts fine the rest
of the day. Let it sit overnight and I must repeat the same procedure. The
car was doing this prior to a tune up, new cap/rotor/ignition module, new plugs and new wires. Car really run well, after the warm up and doesn't post Code 42.
