Gass Tank Questions?

Gass Tank Questions?
Has anyone had this issue? When i go to fill my 88 Iroc up with gass, as soon as I unscrew the gass cap it blows off. Also when i am filling it with gass I have to hold the pump handle to the side hard or it shuts off and spits out gas every 2 seconds. Major PITA Please help.......
