L98...How much, is TOO much, compression??
In a N/A DAILY DRIVER STREET CAR???
Going from a 76cc chambered iron head, to a 62cc aluminum head...
If my math is correct with the combustion chambers & head gaskets I plan to use, I'll have 10.62:1. Obviously, 93 octane premium unleaded will be the gas that I use, I just don't want to deal with detonation on a high12/low13 second naturally aspirated car.
Should I be OK?
Am I worrying for nothing?

The key is what your dynamic compression ratio will be. You would need to calculate that. I'm running just fine with my 10.75:1 motor and 91 octane. My DCR is 8.5:1 and my quench is .035".
