last head question i swear!

ok, i need to know what to look for...
i have a 350 tpi motor and do not want to modify anything. But in my search for heads i saw all sorts of em. can i get any non vortec center bolt heads for my motor or is there a special type i need? i do not want to change my base, nor do i want to drill centerbolt holes.
Thanks
-steve

I backed myself into a corner by starting out with Vortec heads and now am upgrading (I hope) with RHS 2.02/1.6 heads. I'm not sorry by any means as the Vortec is pretty good, but you have a million more choices, I would probably go Edelbrock or an aluminum house brand from Summit in the 170-180cc area.

Yes there are heads for the centerbolt valve covers. In fact most of them will take either style. As to the intake manifold center bolts I'm not sure. However it is easy to have the intake manifold converted to take either sytle head. You are only talking about the center two bolts on each side. I would not limit myself because of the bolts. To easy to fix.
