NEED some Help!

What are some good cams for a basically stock l98 350 with vortec style heads? I'm trying to get some Ideas because I'm taking out the motor and want to cam it before I put it back in but I don't want to go to radical but not too small of one either.

Roller cam? Comp cam 08-502-8 with up graded exhaust or a 08-503-8 w/injectors, plenum, runners, exhaust and 2K stall, both require prom upgrading. Check out their on-line catalog and send them an email with your specs. They'll help you pick one to suit your individual build.

Others will probably chime in with personal fav's but, keep in mind that other components of your drivetrain need to work with your selection. Like, too much cam, high gearing, stock exhaust = pig.

Good luck

ok I'll check that out thanks. I do have an upgraded exhuast now and I've got a t-56 6 speed for a tranny so I dont know how the computer would handle that? Cause i've bypassed the safety switch. But again thank you for the help.
