What do you plan on rebuilding? The entire engine? Just the bottom end?

It's still a small block chevy, everything applies. Just make sure if you use any sealants that they are oxygen sensor compatible.

Change the cam!

Depending on your cash; you can have a lot of things to ooh and aahh over for your TPI rebuild! FIRST, you need to upgrade your intake system, since you will be adding heads and cam work already. You'll need more air to feed your engine. Your factory Runners and manifold are the best place to start. If you can't afford an aftermarket manifold you can home port your stock intake. Runners will be restricting also. Aftermarket sets are available and can be ported out to be huge. Keep your stock throttle body and save that money for runners in my opinion.
