TH350 and TPI
For a swap... what is the difference between the detent cable for a TH350 and the TV cable for a 700R4?
Really, I'm asking if I can use a 700R4 cable with a TH350. My OEM cable (carb) for my TH350 is too short with the TPI. I have a 700R4 cable on hand and will use it if it will work.
I've adapted an Fbody accelerator cable to use the OEM firewall end of the original accelerator cable... so it isn't a big deal to swap out the base of the cable and create a 700R4 cable / TH350 base if I have to do that.

It won't work. The 700r4 detent cable is way to big for the hole in the th350. trust me I tried .
