Transmission: T5 non-W/C
Axle/Gears: 3.27 Open
Carb to TPI
I have an 86 305 with the crappy Q-Jet on it. My friend has his 305 pulled out and will sell me his TPI for a low price. Can someone tell me every step it will take to Convert my 305 to TPI. And is it worth it?

You might go to www.chevythunder.com for some ideas.
Also, there are several good books on changing over older engines.
www.jagsthatrun.com has a good one, and ebay sellers advertise a couple good ones.
www.eficonnection.com or known to us as S10wildside makes a great harness. I've used a couple of his on streetrod engines.
