alright ive got a 383 in the works but all ive got down is the rotating assembly for now being as i am on a budget i plan on keeping the stock heads maybe increase the valve size if i have to but what i really need to know to get the majority of the bottom end together is a cam im guessing something with mid/upper range torque but preferably lower with a choppy idle so if anyone can help me out id appreciate it. keep in mind my 700r4 crapped out on me so im getting a t5 so i cant have a cam with too much torque cuz a world class trans is hhard to find on a budget so i think i might have to settle for a borg warner so does anybody know about a good kit to fix up a BW t5?

 

i dunno about that t5...they didnt even put it on the 350 TPI motors. t56 will prob handle the power, but if you want any more help...you buy an autotrans.
