Next mod??

i recently added a new after cat exhaust to my car (edelbrock) and my car turned to 14.10's (down from 14.28 when i added the slp cold air). my question is what should be my next move?? I already has a AFPR which will be going on soon as i think it can now gain from the added fuel. Headers? Custom chip? What should i go with, now im anxious to go 13's.

Re: Next mod??

I say headers 1st, port the plenum, port the runners, better intake (or port that too) And give it a nice tune.
If you have the time and $$, a nice cam would sound great!

Re: Next mod??

I second porting, take out the EGR walls, siamese the plenum, radius the runner entries, smooth out the lower intake and cut off some of the radius at the turns *give the air a smoother wider path*. Turn up your fuel pressure and bump your timing 2 to 4 degrees. Headers are a must, I wouldn't call the exhaust job done until you get those.

Re: Next mod??

long tube runners. i got the slps on my car and ported them to match the base and it pulls all the way to 5500. let that TPI breath

Some SFC if you dont already have them dose wonders for my launch , it felt like i was getting better weight transfer to the rear wheels
