I have a set of slp runners I bought on a vortec SD intake. I have decided to go with another system. People ask me what year these runnersw are for. I have looked on every website I can find SLP and the pictures in the catalog show exactly the same pair for both years but different part number. I know the 85-88 have another injector or something.

MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE PHYSICAL DIFFERENCE IN THE SLP RUNNERS FOR THE TWO DIFFERENT STYLES?

The 9th injector is the differrence. The early years have this and the runners will have a provission for this 9th injector. HTH

You can use 85-88 runners on a 89-92 if you plug the 9th injector holes in the runners, but 85-88's cannot use 89-92 runners.
