Will a 350 fuel injection fit on a 305?

I was wondering if I could put a 350 fuel injection on my 305? Then I was wondering if it would give me more power and would I have to change other stuff besides the computer?

are you talking about fuel injectors?? if so, yes you can put 350 fuel injectors on a 305. the difference is that the 350 uses 22lb injectors and the 305 uses 19lb injectors. only do this if you need more fuel, if you have a basically stock 305 engine you dont need the 22lbers.

I was wondering about the whole system. Is it different than the 305 system?

yes, your 305 TPI will fit your 350 no problem. the injectors are different, like ron said, but i wouldn't be afraid to use the 305 19# injectors. i would suggest a 350 chip such as jet or hypertech, or just a stock one. an AFPR would make up for the 19# injectors, that is if you need more fuel.

The TPI hardware, wire harness, and computer are identical for 305 and 350. The only difference is the injectors, and the PROM.

Chris,
I think there is some confusion here. You have a 305, right? Which injection system do you have? If you have TBI, it is a little more difficult to put TPI on it. Depending on the year, the wiring, computer, and fuel pump will be different. If you have TPI already, it's the same as the 350, just different injectors (and program).

As a side note, check out www.camaroz28.com for a good local section. We're doing a dyno day at MMC on Saturday. Check it out.
