Need help pritty please with a superam on top

I finaly got the car running. The problem is at about 2000rpm I have surging. The car will rev fine if I hit the throttle to the flore but if I rev the car slowly it hits about 2000rpm and the tach bounces up and down a few hundred rpm. I think I found a vacume leak but I didn't have time to tear into it last night. Any help or ideas and I will be greatly thankfull. Thanks

I had that problem once. It was a faulty PROM. You might want to unplug the throttle position sensor and slowly run it through the rpms where you were having problems. If it runs clean then it is a bad TPS.

I dug into the motor yesterday and found that big vacum leak but the car still surges real bad at 2000rpm's. The car run o.k. but needs the idle adjusted (I'll do that tonight) and if you step into the gas it has a slight hesitation then it runs like a bat outta helll. Can anyone think of anything. Thanks
