TPI Wiring Diagrams

Can someone tell me what a good source to get wiring diagrams for TPI conversion. I am at the point of hooking up all wiring and want to be sure everything is correct
Thanks

Pick up a Chilton's manual (82-92 Camaro/Firebird) at your local auto parts store, should be less than $20. They have pretty complete (but sometimes a little confusing) wiring diagrams. I've rewired my car a few times (I pretty much know it by heart now) and it came in handy.

It's a good idea to photocopy the pages (diagrams) you're currently working on, that way you can draw on them without ruining the book.

Good Luck,

John

(PS. Wiring is a MAJOR PITA!)

To give you an idea of the time it takes.

I can swap harnesses in my car in about 2 days, 1/2 day plugging and routing, 1-1/2 days cursing and throwing tools.

Chiltons certainly work, though I prefer factory manuals the best; and for the stand-alone portion of the harness (just the TPI), any '86-'89 manual should work.

Or are you looking for sensor/enginebay/connector locations?

As far as that goes almost every plug under the hood is different so that you can't "cross your wires" so to speak

If you're using a stock harness once you pull it through the fender and into the cab the length you're left with kind of makes it obvious what can and can't go where, the shorter stuff will be behind the engine:
ESC, Oil sending unit
Center intake:
Egr, MAT
Front:
CTS, IAC, TPS, etc
Driver side:
Temp sending, 02 sensor
Passenger side:
Fan switch (dual fan setup), AC

Firewall:
EST

Like i said for the most part the plugs will only go to one sensor.

Good luck
