CFI to TPI - Can I keep the stock pump?
I know this sounds like a dumb question, but what do you think about retaining the stock low pressure pump to feed an external high pressure pump?
I just can't get excited about removing the fuel tank to replace the pump.

In a word. NO. You have to put in a TPI type fuel pump.

OH, I'm sure that replacing the pump is the wisest thing... and while I have the suspension apart, might as well replace the sway bar bushings and track bars. But I have hear of some cars using multiple pumps.
