Stumbling Hesitation
now i know everyone is gonna say why don't you just use the search bar?? well, i did and didn't really find anything, all i found was things to check that i have already checked... so, it's a '86 305 TPI with a little bit of cam and the problem is that when i start it, it runs extremely rough and idles around 500 rpm in park and when you hit the throttle it bogs down even more and then it seems like the motor catches up and it revs up, but it also does this at all rpms when you snap the throttle, there is no check engine light, a few times it has stalled and not started and left me at a red light...i've checked almost everything: fuel pressure good, fuel pump and filter new, spark plugs wires cap and rotor new, tps sensor new and good voltage with no flat spots, maf sensor new, ecm new, air cleaners new, no vacuum leaks, timing set to 6*, throttle body clean, about 5000 miles on motor rebuild, once motor gets past hesitation it revs fast and pulls up to 5700 or so, i'm kinda out of ideas-could it be a weak coil? injectors? egr? air temp sensor? knock sensor? and also the cooling fan comes on as soon as i start the car and never goes off so maybe cts? idk, i don't wanna keep replacing things that are not the problem, i love tpi, but it has been giving it to me dry since i bought the car a year ago, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Re: Stumbling Hesitation
I would check the injectors. Check all the injectors with an ohm meter and see if any are significantly different than the others. If I recall correctly, each should be about 11-14 ohms. Sorry, but I don't know how to test them to see if they are flowing ok.
Hope this helps!

I had the same problem and solved it by pulling the vac line off of the fuel pressure regulator to see gas coming out (bad regulator).

Re: Stumbling Hesitation
I have an 87 GTA TPI 350 that did the same thing all it ended up being was the pressure regulator was worn out on the diaphram
