Are you sure it has 1.6 rockers? My understanding is you need tall valve covers for 1.6. Thats the reason I havent installed mine. Thats just what i've read, so reply back I have to know so I can put mine on. Very nice car by the way. Love the TPI. check out mine. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2662904

 

I've had more sets of the narrow self aligning 1.6:1 rockers on stock TBI/TPI/LT1/Vortec engines than I can count.

 

hey fast, i've been thinking about doing this, the 1.6's i mean, i have a mostly stock exhaust but i've read that putting the longer rockers on just the exhaust side can be good for how chevy heads flow, for whats always going to be based on a LTR and l98 head combination, would reccomend this mod and which do you think is better, just on the exhaust side or on both?

is that driver side valve cover on upside down or did the firebirds/ta's come like the the fill hole on camaro's is in the front. nice ride

I've run 1.6's s-a and non s-a w guid plat's under stock cover not a problem, do both
