Hi I'm new here and I have a question. Does LT1 injectors work with a TPI for a 350. The reason I ask is because they are a littel shorter than the ones that were in the TPI when it was on a 305. Any help is appreciated thanks

 

i thought they would as well, but no there to short and the ls1's are even shorter but can be used in an lt1/4

 

Thanks I guess I'll have to get different ones then. Do 5.0 mustang injectores work or should I just try to find stock ones

 

I have used '94 LT1 injectors in my TPI engine since 2001. I dont see them being shorter than TPI injectors, but GM has used several different injector styles over the years. The Ford SVO 19 lbs or 24lbs injectors will work too, and they're usually the best price.

good choice. But I just wanted to add I have 24# LT1's in my 305 TPI.

 

are they cliped in and properly seated in the bore all the way to the bottom for the proper spray pattern to the valve area. i just ask since the set up i had wouldn't work
