Fuel Pump
My fuel pump is really starting to go on my IROC (LB9), and I need to replace it.
Since I might as well not skimp on one (I'm planning on a 383 swap whenever I get the money), how does this BBK one look?

Now, is there an access to the pump underneath the carpet in the hatch?
Thanks.

Re: Fuel Pump
The pump looks good, not a "direct" replacement, but would definately work and accomodate your 383 down the road.
No access to pump from inside the car. Gotta drop the tank. Its pretty straightforward, but a lot of work... long job if you've never done it before.

No way to cut an access hole underneath the carpet? Or is that possible. I mean, it'd be "uncut" afterwards (aka, patched).

Re: Fuel Pump
I just did that to my formy, 30 min it was out, you have to cut the hard lines and attach with high psi hose. I used a dril and did a bunch of holes around in a square then cliped the spaces between the holes with wire cutters
