I have an Accel in my car that my be acting up after several years of use. Most others you can use stock regulator guts, just insert them into the adj regulator case they send you. Stock guts will not fit into an Accel unit. The Accel guts have grooves so they only fit the Accel grooved case, plus the adjuster is a different type. Hindsight being 20/20, I'd go with one that accepts stock guts vice the Accel. That way when the guts do go bad, you can pick them up for $22 (bought one yesterday) at Autozone ($27 at Discount auto Parts)
Check Summit and Jegs for prices. I was looking at them last night. Prices will be slightly more at your local speedshop.
