TPI

I want to get into mid 13's with bolt ons with my 1987 Iroc-z, but eventually I will add to the TPI. This will be my shopping list:Edelbrock base intake, AS&M runners, TPIS ported plenum and 52mm throttle body. What do you guys think?

more like low 14s. But still, that is an unbalanced list of mods. Too much on the intake side, not enough on the exhaust side. Forget about the throttle body, the stock one flows plenty. Put that money toward a catback and headers.

I already run 14.3@94mph with 2.0 60ft. I have 3.72 gears and hypertech chip (thermomaster) 160 thermostat and fan switch, and replaced catalysts with oem unit and adjustable Borla cat-back, gutted air box. Iroc-z is a L98 350 TPI not a 305 TPI.

14.2 @98 is pretty quick for just an exhaust! I assume you mean headers also? What year and make? I don't think the 3.72 gears helped very much, actually may have hinderred the performance because I tach out in 3rd just before the traps.
