Axle/Gears: 3.45 9 Bolt
smog pump removal question
I have already read the tech article on removing the smog pump and rerouting the belt. I bought a Gatorback 96.75" belt the closest I could find to the 96.8" mentioned in the article, but it is too short. Does anybody know which belt I need? This is for a 5.7 TPI and All serpentine components are stock.

How short? Does it Almost just make it or is it way too short? Sometimes using string can help. Just route it the same way as a belt, then allow 1/2" or so for tensoin pully. Hope this helps.
