TPI MODS. NEED HELP

I have an 89' fomula 350. Right now every thing is stock exept 3.43 rear gears A chip and a shift kit. I want to gain 1/4 mile speed and all around performance. what mods. would you suggest and what would be the most bang for my buck. I do not want to bottle feed it. Thanks. I would appreciate all your suggestions.

Exhaust upgrades tend to yield great results, the factory manifolds and whatnot are really restrictive. Until you free up the exhaust, doing intake work like a better base won't accomplish much.

I'd consider a set of 1 5/8" headers like Hooker SuperComps (ceramic coated) or SLP stainless steel; a good aftermarket catalytic converter like Random Technologies, and a cat-back exhaust system & muffler like Mufflex. Plan for just over $1,000 in this mod. (headers $500, catalyst $300, cat-back $300).

One of the biggest bangs for your buck, is to buy a cam for it. You can get a good cam for about $250 and gain alot. Also look into runners for your intake, chips, pulleys, and headers.
