Where is the SES in a GTA
Where is the SES in a GTA
I have the digital dash and I am pretty sure that my SES light doesn't work so does any one know where it is located so I can replace the bulb. I think it might be the upper left window. Or one of the circlular windows. Any help

You don't have the owner's manual?? That should tell you where it is.....

it should come on every time you start the car to signify that there is power to the ecm. if it does not come on when you start the car, you either have a dead ecm or there isn't power to it.
I have the digi dash in my T/A also...to replace the bulbs you have to go from the passengers side to the drivers side and remove all plastic trim parts be carefull if you dont start on the passengers side and remove all of them there are some hidden screws that will break the plastic. Take the screws out that hold the gauge cluster in. Remove cluster. Hold a flashlight up to gauges to find the right one. Remove the bulb from the back of the cluster by turning the holder 90* and removing...be carefull not to damage the printed circuit. Also be carefull when putting the cluster back in that it plugs in properly. The system info is plugged in first before pressing the rest of the cluster back in and dont forget to line up the two holes on the bottom of the cluster with the pins in the dash. The only real pain in the a** is getting the cluster out from behind steering wheel and returning it back again I have seen a few of them that were destroyed cause prople dont know how to be patient. Oh yea having a tilt wheel really helps alot...you'll see what I mean
