can i run the $99 zz4 cam with the stock valve springs

this will be in an LB9 engine with ported stock heads...

I wouldn't recommend it, usually the stock
springs can't take the abuse a lumpier cam will put them through, and you may drop a valve!!

I would also suggest replacing the springs/valve seals. Last I checked SDCP had discontinued the take out ZZ4 cams. There is one for sale in the for sale section though by SpankuGTA
