Anyone know the differences between these two
Injectors??
1985-88 350 GM p/n 10108481
and
1987-88 350 GM p/n 17111961
I would appreciate any information on these
injectors.
Thanks

I think the older ones are the pintle type, and the newer ones are the ball type.

Thats not quite the reply I need. Why can't
you use both p/n's on a 305 TPI? Iam going
with the 350 and Iam having a problem finding
the correct P/n.

You can use them on 305 they just didn't come on a 305 because they don't need as much fuel. I mean, they'll work. The first injector you listed is made by Lucas, 350, #22. Second is AC, 350, #22. 305 injectors are #19.
What exactly are you asking? Do you want to know what type of injector to run on your 350?

What Iam doing is putting a 350 in, using the 305 TPI system and I found out the Ist 22#
injector will not fit my fuel rail. Now using
the 2nd 22# which will fit, however they are big bucks. Now it will work. Why does GM have two different injectors?? Its cost me
time & money. Enough said.

Get a set of Accel 22# injectors - they cost way less than OEM ones - probably about 1/3 as much.

http://www.cruzinperformance.com/repinjectors.html has them for $230 for the entire set.
I ordered a set, but they haven't come in yet. WHen they do, I will let ya know how well they go with my new Accel LTR's and intake.
