Any Suggestions

Any of you guys have any suggestions on what kind of modifications will make an automatic 91, Z-28 run high 14's or low 15's without nitrous?

There are numorous things that you can do like heads, cam, intake, gears, etc. but its all about how much you want to spend.

------------------
92 Camaro Z28
350 TPI
Dart Iron Eagle heads
10.5:1 cr
Lunati L54779 cam
52mm throttle body
Ported plenum
Home made AFPR ($2)
1 5/8 shorty headers
Ram air
255 lph Holley fuel pump
2.5 inch TRUE DUAL exhaust (no cats)
Flowmaster mufflers
4.10 gears
700R4 w/2000 stall
100HP nitrous
Best time before any of these mods:
15.1 @ 91.9
Best time after mods:
12.60 @ 108.3
That is at high alt.

You should already be there. If not, all the "simple" and "free" mods should get you there (i.e. K&N Air filter, timing, etc...)

Do all the free mods then do a full exhaust, torque converter, and drag radials.

I know El Paso is quite high, like 4000 feet above sea level. I use to race at the track there when I lived in Alamogordo, NM. I also use to check out Dyer St once in awhile

But you should be able to hit mid 14s with that setup. I've seen stock LT1s hit mid to low 15s in El Paso, you should do better if you can hook up.
