L98 fuel injector removal

Has anyone with a F Body L98 TPI every removed the fuel injectors with the fuel rails, and gas lines attached without pulling the plenum?

On one of the forums, the person said to just remove the four bolts holding the fuel rail down and you could lift the assembly high enough to see if the injectors were leaking and examine the spray pattern.

I've never tried that, but I don't think it'd be all that easy with the plenum in the way. I do know that the injectors can be removed without removing the runners, but I don't quite see your point of wanting to visually watch your injectors fire and get fuel all over...
