Cone air filter on throttle body------>
I put the K&N cone filter on my throttle body, gutted my airbox, and took the bellows off but left the airbox lid in place. I know that when the engine is warm, its taking in all that hot air. Have any of you rigged a set up like this? I have several ideas but would like some input.

About the best thing you can do is route some tubing to get fresh cool air. Anytime you are getting air from under the hood, it is going to be much hotter than outside air. There are many ways to do this, one of which is using dryer ducting to pull air from behind the fog light openings (if you have them). This is a good place to do it, because the holes are already there and you will be getting the air before it gets to the radiator or anything like that to heat it up.
