Ok I am ready to mod.

Ok I have a 91' GTA 350 and I have saved $1200 to to some stuff to it hoping to hit 13's(possible?) No NOS.
Here is what I am definitly going to get:
Hooker Aerochamber Catback $260
K&N $40
Spohn LCA's $95.00
This leaves $805 what should I do I was thinking SLP headers but after installation($250, I can't do it myself) they come to about $700. Should I do those or any other suggestions?
Also BTW I ran 14.6 in the 1/4, I think I can improve that just by practicing though. So basically with my money I wanna try and knock of .6 if possible. Thanks please help me out here I am clueless.

My own opinion is you won't see much difference, just a few HP, with an aftermarket catback, I think your GTA should have a 2.75 inch one stock. I can't see a extra 1/4 inch diameter and a few mandrel bends making that muff difference under 5000rpms.

If it were me, I'd spend 50-60 for a decent free flowing muffler, then take the rest towards the header install.

You could take the rest and have a looser converter and tranny cooler installed..combined with the exhaust work, might get you close to your goal.

My stock 89 350 Formula ran a 14.6. From there i put in a shift kit, LCA's, Airfoil, K&N , pulleys, TES Headers, hiflo cat, Catback, MSD 6AL and Coil and put timing to 8*. With that I got a 14.2 at 98 I just installed a new edelbrock intake AS&M Runners and a ported plenum. I'm hoping for 13's now.

Install the runners yourself...if your considering doing the exhaust yourself you should give the runners a shot its not difficult at all. I wouldnt necessarily bother with just a K&N filter cuz the problem is the box itself in these cars not the filter within.

boy u need some traction bad... I run that mph in my truck, but with high 13's to show for it... try getting some traction aids first before u keep with the power aspect try the spoon rear control arm relocators as well as some boxed control arms this alone should help out...team them with some real tires and possibly a tq converter and youll be running mid to low 13's in no time...JMO
