found a IROC is it the good one?

I'm looking at a camaro with a 350tpi, the car has some problems with it. I think i found most of them but, the seller acted funny funny when i reterned from my test drive and inspection. The car has a top end tick, lose ball joints (both sides)and it seeames to get hot. One of the two eletick fans won't go on. I tryed to tap it to see if it might kick in but no luck. The water pump was just replaced. but still runs hot.
A guy I know told me that there might be a problem with a motor mounts.I put the car into R&F (automatic)a number of times to see if the motor would, move or make noise.I did't here anything or see it move too much, but when i looked under the car the front u-joint had rubbed on the top of the trans tunnel. Is there a problem with the 5.7 motor monts. The seller was in the room so I did't put the car under a load while doing this.Is ther a nother way to find out.

Chances are its the tranny mount that is broken. A replacement fan motor can be had at autozone, DAP or napa cheaper than the dealership. Like 30 bucks or so. If you don't have a good feeling about the car I'd step away and find one you do have a good feeling about.

only one fan is supposed to be on unless the car is operating above 220* or so, i thought i had a problem when only one fan was turning but it is normal, if the transmission mount is broken, when you floor it you will hear the transmission jump

throw the ac on the second fan will turn on that ticking you hear up high may be a rod if it were a rocker or valve chances are you would hear it at part throttle as well

I just wired my second fan directly into the first so both are always on now...

Gotta keep that puppy cool
