Can I use Motorsport 24lb injectors in my T/A?

I have an 89 T/A with a 305. I have just had an 89 GTA 350 rebuilt for the car. I currently have 19lb injectors. I have heard of using the 24lb injectors from ford in these setups. Will this work and do I lose/gain anything by not using GM specific injectors?
thanx

Several of us (me included) use FMS 24# injectors. I'd suggest that you tweak your prom to take advantage of them though. Visit the DIY-PROM board for more help.

is this a just a .30 over rebuild?or are you like stroking ot out to an 383?if it's going to be a pretty much stock rebuild the 24lbs injectors my be too much.i've heard people have had alot of luck with the 19lbs injectors on 350's.

Thanx for the reply. Engine specs:

-355 with Keith Black pistons
-Stage II Summit rods
-Stock 1989 Roller cam, with 1.6 rockers.
-Stock L98 heads with stainless valves/Ported.
-52mm BBk TB
-Modified MAF
-Custom Chip
-410 gears
-Edelbrock Headers/3" exhaust/hiflow cat
-140hp Nitrous

Could I get by on 19lb injectors? I thought at least 22's.

The ford injectors work perfectly in our cars but our injectors will not work in mustangs for some reason?

They both use "Bosh" style injectors that are interchangable with about 80% of cars on the road. The 24# will be just fin for a 355.

You cant run the 19lbs or you will be toast with that NOS. I had a similar set up without NOS and 305 heads that had just mild work on them. The mother ran lean as hell, but I knew if I put 24#ers in I would be rich as hell I really needed the 22#ers, but I had plans of NOS on mine and New that once I put the AFR heads and the 150hp shot I would need the injectors.
