Fuel Pump, diffrent location?

Fuel Pump, diffrent location?
I am in the process of getting organizaded to perform the tpi conversion. I was wondering if any one has ever used a diffrent fuel pump location in stead of the stock in the tank? The reson I am asking is that I don't have the stock fuel lines and will have to make my own any way.

I am about to install a Holley external in-line fuel pump on my 86 T/A.
I am in the process of a carb to TPI swap myself. Visit my site, there is some
info on parts that are required that are no longer made by GM.
High Speed Run: 157mph
