ported plenum....now ques

OK, I finally got around to porting my plenum, installing a homeade fuel pressure reg, and relocating my MAP. I am now running about 45lbs FP. This seems to really help on the top end of the rpm range. Is this what I should expect, or am i just dreaming this improvement?

Fouled out spark plugs thats what I got. Now my car runs to rich. I thought the ECM was supposed to recalibrate for this minor change. I love the power though.

I just did the AFPR thing and mine is set to 36 psi. The best way to set your psi is to run a scan tool while driving the car to see exactly what it needs. I found that I was running WAY rich and needed to lower my setting a lot. Not all cars are going to use the 45 to 50 psi as said in TPIS book or in the tech section of this page. Each car is going to run differently with different settings. I also have a 305 tpi 5 speed in my car with similar engine mods. Just a thought to throw out for you to think about if you cant get a hold of a scan tool then i would watch you exhaust and see if you have black smoke coming out of your tail pipe under heavy load and if you do then you are running rich and you need to back off the pressure.

Yep, that's where you are gonna feel it, on the top end and upper revs. Now do the intake and really feel the difference!

I purchased a accel intake in the GP a while back, now I am waiting to finish my 350 before I do the intake. this was just a cheap (free, except for gaskets) that I did on a Fri night.
